Curbs on tailgating

August 13th, 2008 by shausmann-rochester

Fellow Bills fans…check this one out…from The Associated Press.  Jets and Giants fans are having curbs thrown on thier tailgating.

The Meadowlands Sports Complex has issued new rules regarding alcohol and fan behavior.  Tailgate parties can only start five hours before New York Giants and Jets games instead of seven. Also, season ticketholders who are ejected from the stadium or arena will have their tickets revoked.  Last season, security at Gate D was increased at Jets games because hundreds of men would gather at halftime and demand that women expose their breasts. View-blocking banners will be hung on the spiral staircase to help eliminate the problem.  Unchanged is the halftime cutoff for alcohol sales.

Are you in favor of tougher tailgating regulations and stadium security at the Ralph?  And…while we’re at it, how do you feel about Thursday night’s Bills’ preseason game in Toronto?  Let me know…
