So…yeah, I do wear TopSiders…
They’re comfortable, stylish (to me, at least) and very affordable. Not only have I worn them for over thirty years, they’re pretty much the only shoes I EVER wear!
In fact, I order a new pair each year for my annual summer visit to Nantucket. My ’08s are should arrive any day now.

I don’t like the skecher ones they look the white shoes old golfers wear in Florida, for a nice shoe try HSN.com search earth shoe, it has a negative heel technology, wide toe box and look for sale ones.

Keep your topsiders. I think they look great! My husband wears them all the time as well. The skechers are pretty ugly, to me anyway!

thank goodness you don’t wear socks with them! just take those socks you don”t have on and put them in newman’s mouth (preferably) one’s you’ve already worn.

gotta go, i’m with newman. altho i remember them being called dock shoes or something. those skechers aren’t much better. Ok Steve from someone a little younger than Newman, those things are so out of style! Now I have to say the ones Newman chose are terrible, you are better off sticking with the ones you got but there is a reason they are boat shoes, they should be worn on the boat only!

I like your topsiders, yet the desert colored Sketchers would be all right as an alternate. It depends on how they fit as well.
But, Who is Newman to decide what is right for you to wear? Do you tell him how to dress in those classy clothes that he always wears? I would, however, not necessarily give your son your hand me downs.

I think you should wear what’s comfortable. I like the shoes Newman picked out, but if they are not comfortable then don’t waste your money!

LOVE the Sketchers!! The times have changed, so why not change the shoes? Who knows, they may be more comfortable. You have to at least try them on & see how they feel.

No, those Skechers are ugly. I like the topsiders. I used to have some, and they are very comfortable. If you like them, who cares what anybody thinks.
